Self Intrest
Self intrest is good for driving our economy. It shows that people are gonna economicly do what it takes to suvive in life. Self intrest is looking out for one's self, makeing sure i get ahead in life so i can help advance society in a positive direction. In this article Ivan Hoffman talks about how self intrest can advance society, and the companies that act on it.

I loved reading the Ivan Hoffman article. He is quite adamant that our only responsibility is to our own self-interest and makes a strong case. I appreciated his reference to Adam Smith. "It is not from the benevolence of the butcher, the brewer, or the baker that we expect our dinner, but from their regard to their own interest." I am excited to continue this conversation, and looking forward to hearing what you think of the Kohn reading.
